pricing and payment

For one off jobs such as lawn mowing, weeding, watering, pruning, planting and garden design we will agree a fixed fee during the first consultation. We will never take on a piece of work without coming to meet you and see exactly what it is that needs doing – don’t worry, we don’t charge for the first consultation and it’s really just an informal chat. It’s important to remember that just because it’s a one off-job, doesn’t mean we will always be able to complete it in one visit, but if we’ve agreed a price then that’s all you’ll be charged regardless of the number of visits.

If you prefer, we are also happy to work on an hourly rate basis. This works especially well with regular ongoing maintenance where the nature of the jobs can vary from week to week.

We are prepared to offer discounts for regular fixed price pieces of work such as lawn mowing, as long as these are block booked up-front.

Cash is great, but we know that most people increasingly don’t have cash so we also take major credit cards, bank transfer or standing orders for regular work.
